The University of Maribor, Slovenia, is delighted to invite your students to participate in our Summer University 2025, featuring a series of Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) across various academic fields.

Each programme combines online and on-site components, including lectures, workshops, local visits, and a vibrant social programme. Participation in all modules is free of charge.

Students are encouraged to consult their home universities regarding Erasmus+ BIP funding opportunities to support their mobility.

This course aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and apply artificial intelligence (AI) in the field of mechanical engineering. Through a practical and interdisciplinary approach, the course will explore the use of AI techniques, such as machine learning, neural networks, and optimization algorithms, in processes such as structural health assessment, smart manufacturing, predictive maintenance, and control of mechanical systems.

Due to the hands-on nature of the course and personalized attention provided, we have limited seats available to ensure an enriching experience for each participant.

Informacja od uczelni organizującej program:

The programme will be delivered by professional lecturers, experts from non-profit European private foundation Women4Cyber Latvian Chapter, Cyber Incident Response Institution of the Republic of Latvia etc.

The aim of this ERASMUS+ Blended Intensive Programme is to promote the idea of internationalization, increase staff and student mobility, and take part in various activities and tours together, such as visiting the beautiful Old Town of Riga, House of the Black Heads, the magnificent National Library, etc.

The language of training is English. Maximum number of participants in group – 20. There is no registration fee.

Participants are responsible for covering their own accommodation, living and travel costs. They are expected to get the Erasmus+ Mobility grant from their home Institution.

BIP events for students:
- Erasmus+ BIP on Artificial Intelligence and Teaching (on-site 16-20 June 2025)
- Erasmus+ BIP on Doctoral Education (on-site 16-20 June 2025)
- Erasmus+ BIP on Doctoral studies supervision (on-site 7 –11 July 2025)

During these BIPs, the attendees will undertake a short-term mobility to the URV in Tarragona (Spain), which will be combined with a virtual component (3 June 2025), facilitating collaborative online learning exchange and teamwork.
