AFTER ARRIVE

Please find some tips and guides about formalities to be done after arriving in Lublin:

1. Check-in at your dormitory (we have 4 dormitories, check at the confirmation of accomodation the address of yours). In the dormitories you will stay in triple room the price is 450 PLN paying once a month. All dormitories are situated at LUT campus.

2. Come to the Office of International Education to register – bring originals of all recruitment documents. Diploma and transcript of records must be translated into Polish language (our office is at the Dormitory no 4 in room no 6, ask about Stanisława)

3. Office hours for International Students at Office of International Education: 11 am – 2 pm from Monday till Friday.

4. At the Deans office you must provide:

• If the candidate is referred for a medical examination by Lublin University of Technology, they must deliver a medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to undertake education in a chosen field of study and form of education, issued by occupational medicine physician.
• A disease and accident insurance policy covering the period of education in Poland or the European Health Insurance Card in English or Polish language. Lublin University of Technology officer prepares a copy certified with the original of the said document.
• If the candidate doesn’t have a disease and accident insurance policy, they are obliged to sign the insurance in the Polish National Health Found – immediately after beginning studies.
• Two photos not older than 6 months, presenting the whole head without headdress, size 35mm x 45mm, photos should be signed up at the back with name, surname and the number of the passport;
• A copy of document authorising the candidate to stay on the territory of the Republic of Poland.
• Original Power of Attorney, authorizing a person to act on behalf of the Candidate.*

5. The Welcome Meeting usually takes place in the end of September or beginning of October - you will be informed via e-mail.
