2. Diploma supplement or transcript of records	document containing the full list of obtained grades and completed courses together with curricula content (if applicable).
3. Grading scale	if not specified in other education documents – diploma or supplement; issued by the university which awarded the diploma.

2. Statement of marks with an official grading scale	state examination grades, entitling them to undertake studies in the country of issue.
3. Secondary Degree Recognition	Secondary Degree Recognition issued by NAWA (Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange) Director online via SYRENA system. Here more information about procedure. Secondary Degree Certificates which are EXEMPTED from the recognition procedure: issued by China (only gaozhong biye zhengshu), Ukraine and EU, EEA , EFTA or OECD member states, International Baccalaureate, European Baccalaureate. This rule concerns the following states: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Croatia, South Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom (England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland), USA.

Attention: All the above-mentioned documents must either bear apostille or be legalized.

If the certificate was issued by the country which is a part to The Haque Convention – that means you need to provide Apostille, otherwise a legalization stamp by the Embassy of Republic of Poland in the country where the certificate was issued or Consul of your country in Poland.

The higher education diploma or other document confirming completion of higher education has to be cerified through apostille or legalization. If the document was issued by a Polish higher education institution, the legalization/apostille is not needed.

1. Apostille
If a country in which a given document was issued is a party to the Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalisation for Foreign Public Documents, concluded in the Hague, 5 October 1961, the document’s legalisation is replaced by an Apostille certificate attached to it. The list of countries – parties to the Convention and the institutions authorised to issue the Apostille is available here.

2. Legalisation
Legalisation is the certification of a document’s formal conformity with the law binding in the place of its issue or of the authenticity of the seals and signatures placed on the document. If a country in which a given document was issued is not a party to the Hague Convention, the document’s legalisation remains the responsibility of the Polish consular office in that country.

must be submitted together with original sworn translations into Polish language made by a Polish sworn translator entered into the list of sworn translators maintained by the Minister of Justice or a sworn translator registered in any EU, EFTA or OECD country, or a consul of the Republic of Poland being at the office in the country within which education system the diploma have been issued.

Note: The above mentioned documents uploaded as scans to the Electronic Student Registration System during the preliminary qualification procedure may be also issued or translated into English. However, during the enrolment procedure the candidate is required to submit original documents together with original sworn translations into Polish language.

*For purposes of the admissions to LUT, a certificate is considered valid only for 5 years from the date of its issuance. That is, in the 2025/2026 admission session candidates must present a certificate issued between 2020-2025.
