Dear colleagues
The Government of Navarre (northern region of Spain) has launched WIT, an Early Stage Researchers (ESRs) Doctoral Programme cofunded by the EU as part of the H2020- Marie Sklodowska Curie Action Cofund.
This programme named "WIT Navarra" is offering 16 predoctoral contracts to excellent ESRs in order to develop individual research projects in four areas: Health, Automotive-Mechatronics-Advanced Manufacturing and Energy, with the Artificial Intelligence applied to the three previous areas as fourth transversal areas.
The programme has two calls: the second one is now open to hire 8 ESRs, closing on 17 March 2023.
The fellowship includes a gross annual salary of up to 36,000 euros, as well as the financing of part of the Social Security and an additional allowances for relocation and installation in Navarra, the realization of training and mobility stays, as well as the payment of other expenses related to the research to be carried out.
WIT will involve academics and researchers from near 30 other internationally-supported academic, as well as industrial partner organisations focused on the Programme fields. This will ensure an attractive, cross-sectoral and international ecosystem for incoming researchers by offering secondments, short stays, and training at industry. Thanks to WIT, ESRs will also get transferable skills such as knowledge transfer, entrepreneurship, exploitation and valorisation of research results, intellectual property, gender analysis in research, leadership, creativity, communication skills, teamwork and ethics.
The link to participate in this call, as well as the rest of the information about WIT, can be consulted in its website: https://wit.navarra.es/en/web/wit/home
