"Crossroads of Culture and Memory: Istanbul Summer School on Migration, Sociocultural Change, and Urban Memory."

We are delighted to invite your esteemed university to participate in our upcoming summer school program. This innovative and interdisciplinary program offers a unique educational experience for students, focusing on key themes of migration, sociocultural change, and urban memory in the vibrant city of Istanbul.

Program Details:

Online part: 15-19 July 2023
On-site part: 22-26 July 2023

Students will have the opportunity to engage with diverse perspectives, participate in enriching discussions, and gain valuable insights into the cultural and historical dimensions of Istanbul. We believe that this experience will be highly beneficial for students from various academic backgrounds, including Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, Cultural Studies, Psychology, Economy, Architecture, Urban Planning, History, Turkology, Art History, and any other related fields.

To ensure the full recognition of their efforts, students are required to fill an Online Learning Agreement (OLA). 

The final list of participating students must be sent by 20 June 2024.

Depending on the number of participating universities, we will be able to host a maximum of 5 students from each institution.
