This intensive, one-week program (23–27 November 2026) brings together Bachelor‘s and Master‘s students in international teams to tackle real-world problems in healthy aging and life science engineering. Students work hands-on across six specialized projects:

1. Sustainable Nutrition for Healthy Aging
2. Virtual Reality for Elderly Mobility & Engagement
3. Biomechanics of Lifting Techniques
4. Gene Expression & Healthy Aging
5. Muscle Activation and Healthy Ageing – Exploring Age Simulation with EMG
6. Activity Recognition & HRV Analysis for Preventive Health

• Hands-on project work with expert supervisors
• International collaboration in multidisciplinary teams
• 2 ECTS credits + Certificate of Participation
• State-of-the-art facilities at University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien

This is a unique chance for your students to gain practical experience in cutting-edge research while networking with peers and professionals in the field. No compensation for travel/meals/accommodation is provided, but the Winter School is free of charge and the learning experience is invaluable.
