EU- citizens, students, 90+ day stay

EU citizens, who stay more than 90 days in Poland, need to register their stay or get the residence permit at the certain administrative office. In Lublin, Department for Foreigners is situated in the office at ulica Lubomelska 1-3, ROOM 322. 

This right is enshrined in article 45 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights.

Directive 2004/38/EC on the right to move freely and live in another EU country.

In the procedure of registering the residence, one need:

fill in the document on registering your stay

present the student status statement on exchange studies, free of charge or financed by home university, ie. confirmation from the dean's office of the faculty you are assigned to during your mobility;

present the proof of health insurance [EHIC card] or confirmation of covering health treatment costs on the territory of Poland by the insurer;

present the proof of sufficient financial funds.
