Teatr Wschodni invites for a performance presented in English: "The Republic of Dreams" - a monodrama by Paulina Prokopiuk, directed by Gosia Jakubowska Raczkowska.
Are you going on the trail too? Are you going or coming back? Do you have a map? What is your dream? Are you near or far? Meeting her own desires, Zofia – the character of the monodrama – goes on an inner journey to Schulz’s Republic of Dreams. She stops for a while in a wild hut. Who will she meet there?
The script is based on a journey to Finnish Lapland, the true stories of locals, and the prose of Bruno Schulz.
