From 15–19 June, Lublin University of Technology hosted the 20th anniversary edition of its International Week, an event bringing together representatives of partner universities from around the world. This year's edition welcomed over 60 participants, who spent five days exploring the University's academic, educational, and research potential while establishing new contacts and exchanging experiences in the field of international cooperation.

The programme began on Monday with a welcome session, during which the guests were officially greeted by Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Paweł Droździel, and the Head of the International Education Office, Celina Handzel. Participants then introduced their home institutions through short presentations, creating an opportunity to get to know one another and exchange experiences. Following a coffee break, the guests joined a guided tour of the Lublin University of Technology campus, where they became familiar with the University's infrastructure and key facilities. The day concluded with a joint lunch.

On Tuesday, 16 June, thanks to the hospitality of the Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer, participants learned about the University's activities in the commercialisation of research results and its cooperation with industry. This was followed by a meeting with Professor Mirosław Wendeker, who shared his perspective on scientific research and innovation. The next session was hosted by representatives of the Faculty of Management, who presented the University's new English-taught degree programme, AI in Business Solutions. The day concluded with meetings led by representatives of the Patent Information Centre, focusing on intellectual property protection and related issues.

Wednesday, 17 June, was dedicated to modern technologies and hands-on demonstrations. Participants attended robotics workshops, explored the possibilities of virtual reality during VR sessions, and visited the Motion Capture Laboratory, where they were introduced to motion capture systems used in engineering research and projects. They also toured the University's multimedia studio and discovered how artificial intelligence can support modern media production. The day concluded with a meeting featuring Marta Juszczyk and Dariusz Mazurek, owner of the company Digit.on, devoted to cooperation between academia and industry as well as the practical applications of emerging technologies.

Thursday, 18 June, focused on innovation and the presentation of scientific and technological achievements. Participants visited Arena Lublin to attend the international exhibition of inventions and innovative technologies, InnoWings. The programme included the discussion panel International Networking of Innovation, devoted to building international cooperation networks in the field of innovation, the official opening ceremony accompanied by the inaugural lecture, and a networking session providing opportunities to exchange experiences and establish new contacts with representatives of academia and industry.

In the second part of the day, the guests visited the Lublin Village Museum, where they took part in a guided tour introducing them to the history of the region, traditional forms of settlement, and the historic rural and small-town architecture of the Lublin region. The visit provided participants with valuable insight into the cultural heritage of the region and served as an enriching complement to the academic programme of the event.

On Friday, 19 June, the 20th International Week officially came to a close. The final day began with a morning coffee meeting, giving participants an opportunity to reflect on the week's activities, strengthen newly established connections, and discuss future cooperation. This was followed by a quiz about Poland and the city of Lublin, allowing participants to test their knowledge of the country and the region in a friendly and engaging atmosphere. The event concluded with a certificate award ceremony, during which all participants were thanked for their active involvement and the University's hope for further development of international cooperation was expressed.

The 20th International Week once again demonstrated that Lublin University of Technology is an institution committed to fostering international partnerships, promoting the exchange of knowledge and experience, and supporting the development of joint academic, educational, and research initiatives. The diverse programme, combining presentations of the University's strengths with workshops, study visits, and networking activities, created excellent conditions for participants to build lasting relationships and lay the foundations for future international projects and collaborations.
