Université de Technologie de Compiègne , UTC, is a member of the SUNRISE European Universities Alliance, and is organizing its first summit under the theme:

**“Innovative Pedagogy and European Cooperation: A Catalyst for Attractiveness and Regional Development.”**

This first SUNRISE Summit will take place on **Tuesday, September 23, 2025, starting from 9:00 AM until 16:00 PM (CET)** at the **UTC Transfer Center in Compiègne, France**. The event will bring together public decision-makers, academic leaders, and industrial stakeholders from across Europe, committed to advancing major societal, environmental, and digital transitions. The program includes a round table with national Erasmus+ directors, a collective intelligence session for building a SWOT analysis for European alliances, presentations on regional needs, and presentations on best practices from the nine member universities. These best practices include “customised learning programs”, “How to develop a green campus”, “BeAST, an innovative career center model”, “How to best integrate research and training”, “the development of an efficient research strategy”, “How to align university strategy with its region’s needs” …
