Information about the MOS ICT system – a portal for submitting applications for residence permits in Poland electronically
The Office for Foreigners informs that the full functionality of the MOS ICT system (Case Handling Module), enabling the electronic submission of applications referred to in Article 225a(1) of the Act on Foreigners, i.e. the applications for the following permits:
will be made available to users on April 27, 2026.
From that date, submitting applications for temporary residence, permanent residence, and EU long-term resident status will be possible only electronically via the MOS portal.
ATTENTION!
Persons whose legal stay expires before April 27, 2026 or around two weeks after this date are advised not to delay submitting their application for a residence permit in Poland and to submit it as soon as possible in paper version.
VERY IMPORTANT!
A paper application must be received by the voivodeship office before the launch of the new MOS portal, i.e., by April 26, 2026. If the application is received after this date, it will not be considered (it will be left without examination). The postmark date does not count.
In cases where the attachment must be signed by a representative in Poland, students who need to legalize their stay in the coming days are requested to urgently contact their faculty dean’s office.
More information about the procedures of submitting application in paper version and electronically are available on the website https://www.gov.pl/web/udsc/info-mos
